Last night I checked my Facebook wall and found the cutest post from a fellow mom at our church…

“My daughter has an obsession that runs deep for your son. I am talking head over heels. Almost everytime she comes home from church these are her words: ” I tissed Jadon. He toe tute, Mom. I WILL tiss him again!!!! (after I tell her to stop kissing him) I wuv him.” *sigh* She also makes daily phone calls to him on here princess phone telling him about her day. This is just a warning. She’s out of control.”

Ah, It starts so young!  The funny thing is that it is usually my son doing all the kissing.  How do you tell a very loving two year old not to love on his best buddies?  Haha, we’ve tried and it’s impossible.  I guess we will just enjoy the laughs for now!

Tonight I am packing me and the boys up for the weekend. The little one is going with me to our youth retreat, and Jad is headed to his best friend’s house.  I am going to miss him so much!

I’m really excited for what God has in store for us this weekend.  I’ve heard rumors that the dramas are going to rock everyone’s world.  Of course, I am stoked about worship.  Everyone has been working so hard.  

So if you are out there and you know about Coram Deo, or even if you don’t, we would be so thankful if you said a prayer for us today.  Satan likes to attack just about every aspect of the event each year, but God always comes back kicking butt tail and taking names.  Literally

Last Tuesday night we had an awesome fun time in the Worship Department.  This is what the choir looked like about 3 years ago.  We are now in black and (insert color here) every week.  These robes have been hanging in the back of the choir room since then, and we are finally selling them!  Yay!  So, if you are interested… j/k

We made everyone put one on so we could have a “live” shot of what they looked like, and then cranked up the Sister Act 2 CD.  Enjoy!

Recently I have been inspired to do many things. Unfortunately, when this happens I do not have enough money to finish what I start. So I have had to change my perspective, and here is my new “green-ly” inspired list of to do’s. I guess you could call this is my self-evaluation sheet of being a mom (and wife). I like doing this because it makes all of our lives around here better.  

• Menu planning for our family meals - This is hard to do every night, but I’m getting the hang of it with our schedule.  Hopefully I will share some new recipes and ideas here soon.
• Coupon clipping like *this* - I need some helpful hints for this area from my local moms.  There are not many easy ways to do it around here.  We have Wal-mart and Harps.
• Making Jonah’s baby food - working on it, and just found out my friend Amy is going to help me!
• Spring Cleaning - I was kicked into gear by Simple Mom.  (You need to check out this site if you haven’t!)  It has taken me twice as long to get everything together, but I have almost finished.
• Women’s Bible Study - A group of us moms decided we would all go together, and I am stoked (and there is childcare!)
• Attempt a “Garden” - Hopefully my few little plants will survive!
• Get Out of the house - We have been going to the park almost every other morning to walk and ride the train.  I also bought a pool for Jad.  
• Potty Train Jadon - Well, you know how that one is going. 
• Have the best summer possible!  I want to have so much fun with my family.  I don’t care if it’s crazy busy like the last few weeks.  That is how our life is and I have learned that I can’t change it.  

Overall, my goal is to become a better home manager this summer. I am satisfied with this list (for being a mom of two little ones).   I’m sure that many interesting posts will come from my adventures…

So, I was informed Sunday that Jadon is showing interest in one of the girls in his 2 year old nursery class. As cute as you all think this is, sweet Zoey makes girlfriend #3. Yes, one for every “venue.”

#1 is the cute Kasey from school. She is loud, goofy, and from what I can tell, loves everything. He thanks Jesus for her every night in our prayer time. I mean every night.

#2 is the spitfire, Annasten, from Small Group and Play-dates. She is the younger of the three (at 18 months), but can definitely hold her own among all the other boys. She has put Jadon in his place many times, but they are too cute when they give goodbye hugs! (Jadon is a head taller)

#3 is quiet Zoey, and the first blonde Jadon has ever shown interest in. I do not know much about her yet, but her parents are sweet. She is the silent type, so far.

So with girlfriend number three, I wonder more and more what kind of girls my son will be interested in, one day when it matters. Before he was born I was already telling Jon which girls Jadon will never date. Isn’t that funny?
